Norman
Geddes, Senior Partner, has been in practice since 1976. His principal areas
of expertise are in property conveyancing work with a particular interest
in commercial and agricultural property and property development. He lectured
at the University of Strathclyde before returning to private practice. He is co-author of the book “Hospitality
and Tourism Law” and has contributed to other publications.
Austin Thomson, Partner, has been a solicitor in private
practice since 1968. His principal areas of interest are in domestic and
commercial property conveyancing and private client work. He has been a highly
respected member of the legal community in Ayrshire for over thirty years.
He is currently Clerk to the River Board for three of the main rivers in
Ayrshire, the Rivers
Doon, Girvan and Stinchar.
Laura Boswell joined the firm as an Assistant Solicitor
in the new Commercial and Agricultural Division. Laura comes from a farming
family in Muirkirk, Ayrshire. She read Law at Glasgow University before joining
the firm of Biggart Baillie as a legal trainee. She then moved to Turcan Connell
in Edinburgh, and has wide experience in commercial and agricultural property
law.
