Press Releases: Immediate
Ayrshire solicitors announce new commercial law division
And Laura Graham returns home to join the firm
Frazer Coogans Solicitors of Ayr announce the setting up of their
new Commercial and Agricultural Division to be known as Frazer Coogans
Commercial.
Senior partner Norman Geddes said: "Frazer Coogans has always
been very active in commercial and agricultural property, particularly
in the fields of purchase, leasing and sale of investment property,
agricultural land and property, purchase and sale of pubs, hotels
and other commercial premises and commercial security work. With
up to date technology, the firm also has the ability and capacity
to deal with a wide range of commercial matters for the major banks
and for developers and investors.
"Because of the increasing volume of this type of work that
we are experiencing, it seemed logical to set up a separate specialist
division to handle it, much on the lines of our Accident &
Injury Claims Centre which deals with claims for damages for personal
injury."
To enhance their Commercial Property team Frazer Coogans have
also appointed Laura Graham to join the firm as an Assistant Solicitor
in the new Commercial and Agricultural Division. Laura (27) comes
from a farming family in Muirkirk, Ayrshire. She read Law at Glasgow
University before joining the firm of Biggart Baillie as a legal
trainee. She then moved to Turcan Connell in Edinburgh, specialising
in commercial and agricultural law.
Laura is now looking forward to moving back to Ayrshire, and planning
for her forthcoming wedding in July.
Norman Geddes said: "We are delighted that Laura has joined
our Commercial Property team. Her experience in commercial and
agricultural property work as well as her personal knowledge of
farming will be of enormous benefit to our clients throughout
Scotland."
